To celebrate 20 years of kinesiology activity
We are really pleased to invite you to the 2008 International Kinesiology Conference, organized by A.I.O. for I.K.S.E.N. For those of you coming from abroad, it will be a great opportunity, to enjoy a wonderful Italian style conference with the right mixture of fun and learning.
The objective of this Conference is to disclose the knowledge of the most advanced kinesiologycal systems, through presentations, practical workshops and the direct contact with the most well-known kinesiology experts, coming from all over the world.
All the lectures will be presented both in Italian and in English (other languages may be offered according to the number of participants needing translation for a further language). You will be able to exchange knowledge, experiences, ideas with the brightest intelligences coming from every corner of the Planet.
In the latest years, the kinesiological research has explored many avenues, becoming a science of integration in the health and personal development dynamics, with excellent results, greater consents from the users and greater attention from the Academic Medicine.
You will be provided a room for “personal balancing”, or where you can try directly on yourself the methods presented.
The conference is for everyone, both for those who have no background knowledge and want to have an idea about the methods used, as well as for those who are already active in the kinesiological or natural healing field, and desire to study in depth and expand their knowledge.
Among the events planned there will be several socializing
moments like the talent’ show, a gala dinner and alive
music and entertainment throughout the entire conference.
You will also have the opportunity to “live” Gargnano, a
small village on Garda Lake and its surroundings.
There will be five unforgettable days.

The class will be taught in English and Italian
Course content: “Aesthetic facial stress” has been developed in more than 5 years of researches in beauty centres. In this brief seminar you can learn how to test and correct the stresses of the face. Such stresses are approached with the meridians energetic model and trough an face emotional chart. The energy correction is the main one; during the course you will also learn suggestions regarding other aesthetic techniques and natural products.
The program includes: fundamentals of skin anatomy and physiology, the skin concept according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Psychosomatic research. Tests and corrections for skin hydration: asphyxiated skin, fat skin, neck lymphatic system stress, hypotonic skin, sensitive skin, hypotonic face muscles, active and inactive wrinkles, aged skin, (Chronoaging and Photoaging).
About the facilitator: Silvano Schichet is a professional kinesiologist and has attended 3 further years of specialization in kinesiology. He studied stress defusion techniques in the Improvement research Institute in Udine. He is a shiatsu therapist and karate and Zilgrei instructor. He is the founder of “Aesthetic kinesiology”. He is a consultant for several Aesthetic companies operating both in Italy and abroad.
“The Holding Therapy”

Course content:
This course emphasises ‘holding’ as way of life within anthropological, biological, theological and philosophical perspectives. Holding is the original mould of the incarnation which the child first experiences under the heart of his pregnant mother and as an infant in his mother’s arms. Within the bond and love of the parents or parental substitutes, the child learns both empathy and how to deal with aggression. Our modern society with the ongoing mechanisation and numerous ideological processes has lost this instinct-based education of the heart. You cannot teach an old dog new tricks and thus, the adult has to request for therapeutic help.
Holding therapy was invented by Martha Welch (USA). It was established as a therapy for bonding disorders by Nobel Prize winner Niko Tinbergen and was then passed under his scientific leadership to Jirina Prekop. Prekop’s method of holding therapy emphasises holistic perception. It provides a setting for the self-development of the client as well as the entanglements in his family system which will be identified and treated from a solution-orientated perspective. The reconciliation of conflicts that can’t be handled linguistically, but rather through an embodied experience will be attempted within the three generations of the family wherever possible. In this workshop, the basic elements of holding therapy will be introduced and various methods of embracing will be demonstrated. The participant will be given ample information about the four practised kinds of the holding therapy:
- parent-child-holding (at any age of the child, that is also, if the child is above 60 years old)
- reconciliation with absent parents under visualisation
- married couple-holding
- Re-Bonding (to catch up emotional experiences of the birth and after the birth)
About the facilitator:
Jrina Prekop Dr.phil is a psychologist. She was born in 1929 and grew up in Moravia. She studied philosophy, psychology and pedagogics. She emigrated in Germany from Czechoslovakia after the collapse of the Prague Spring. She worked for many years in the children’s clinic in Stuttgart as a support for parents with the aim to renew the love in the family environment. In 1981 she took over from Wech and from Tinbergen “The Holding Therapy “, she developed it further, linking this with the systemic Approach of Bert Hellinger and developed it in her owns terms into a medium for renewing love in the context of family bonds.
She is the author of many books, included the best sellers “The Petty Tyrant” how to deal with the children whimpers , translated in 15 languages.

REFUND POLICY
Seminars and/or conference refunds:
4 weeks before the event: refund of the entire amount minus € 35 for administration expenses.
3 weeks before the event: refund of 80% of the entire amount.
2 weeks before the event: refund of 60% of the entire amount.
1 week before the event: refund of 40 % of the entire amount.
Last six days before the event: the total amount will be entirely held.
How to reach Gargnano
By car coming from east-west: take Highway A4 Milan-Venice exit Desenzano. From Desenzano drive about 35 km to Gargnano.
By car coming from North: Higway A22 Brennero-Modena: Exit Rovereto sud—Northern Garda lake. Drive through Riva del Garda to Gargnano, about 45 km.
By train and bus: Brescia is the nearest railway station: at 100 metres from the station you can take a SIA company bus to Gargnano, departing every hour from 6am to 7 pm.
Airports: the nearest (75 Km) international airport is Verona airport “Valerio Catullo” which is about half an hour shuttle from Verona railway station. From there you can either go by train to Brescia or rent a car and drive to Gargnano through Desenzano. At 45 km from Gargnano is the Airport D’Annunzio in Montichiari.
The largest airports are Milano Linate airport at 145 km and Malpensa airport at 175 km from Gargnano.
Orio al Serio airport (Bergamo) is around 80 km far from Gargnano. From these airports you may take a bus to Milan Central Railway station and then a train to Brescia.
GARGNANO and SURROUNDINGS
Gargnano is a very nice old village on the west side of Garda Lake, it lies beautifully embedded between the lake and high mountains, olive trees, vineyards and lemon groves.
The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of Gargnano attracts many Italian and foreign tourists.
HISTORICAL NOTES:
Gargnano has probably a roman origin, in XI century it was owned by the earls of Desenzano, then from 1331, belonged to Castelbarco family. In 1426 it became part of the Venetian territories. It was a very big rural village with lemon and cedar cultivation and it was also important for the fishing activity.
INTERESTING TO VISIT:
It is very interesting to see the church and the cloister of S. Francesco dated 1285, where there are beautiful paintings of A. Celesti. Very interesting as well are Villa Feltrinelli (centre for the summer courses of foreign students) and Palazzo Bettoni dated XVII century rich of very beautiful paintings, statues and fornitures.
