Anatomy & Physiology of the Brain

An Applied Physiology Workshop

Presented by Jacque Mooney

Anatomy and Physiology of the Brain is a wonderful course from Applied Physiology which covers the anatomy and physiology of the brain as well as the kinesiology formatting required to access and work with these areas. Using a combination of finger modes while touching specific acupoints (formatting), one can easily access specific neurological structures in order to monitor stress, and then defuse it, using a corrective technique from your own tool kit.

Popular topics for participants include: the limbic system which registers rewards and punishment, has a primary role in the formation and expression of emotions such as pain, pleasure, anger, rage, sorrow and sexuality and is the seat of our short term and long term memory. It also controls the body’s overall function via its input to the hypothalamus and autonomic nervous system.

Besides being of particular value when dealing with clients with learning difficulties, or all manner of conscious and subconscious emotional issues, there is a strong emphasis on working with the hypothalamus which controls the hormones and therefore the function of the body via the autonomic nervous system. This will allow you to work directly with aspects such as the entire digestive system, blood pressure, sexuality issues, motor movement and visual and auditory problems.

The following five day Leap Brain Integration I course is based on the formatting points from this course. This course will give you a general basis upon which to undertake further study in the area of learning problems as well as many other issues pertaining to our health and balance on all levels.

Included:   3 comprehensive manuals.

On completion of the course the participant will be able to format many areas of the cortex and limbic system of the brain, utilise the information in the manuals and integrate it with other learned Kinesiology skills.

Pre-requisites:  Applied Physiology Hologram Series, Touch for Health 1-4, or other Kinesiology courses that have strong corrective techniques.
