Registration Information Practitioner Code of Ethics Practitioner Levels
As
local governments seek to control the alternative / complementary therapy
industry, they institute new by-laws which Specialized Kinesiologists may
find limiting to their practices. Often, these by-laws ask for proof of
(1)
training by a certified educational
institution, or,
(2)
membership in a professional organization.
In such
situations, it is important that we, as Specialized Kinesiologists be
pro-active rather than reactive. One way to do this is to support our
national association. Please encourage everyone you know who practices
muscle testing in Canada to join CanASK.
Receive
news about related kinesiology subjects and information about proposed
bylaws in various communities through the “Reaching Out’ quarterly
newsletter. It includes book reviews and motivational reports from other kinesiologists,
reprinted articles from North American Conferences, class listings and
more.
Members
will be listed in the Membership Directory which is printed once per year,
and maintained quarterly on this website.
This
leads to calls from the general public inquiring about your services and to
receive referrals from kinesiologists worldwide who are looking for
practitioners and instructors in your area of the country.
See
below for further benefits applicable to various membership levels.
